Michelle graduated with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2020. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a specialization in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Waterloo.
Empathy and warmth are at the centre of Michelle?s approach to treatment. She understands that physiotherapy is not always an easy journey, and so she emphasizes a collaborative and individualized approach to patient care. She utilizes a variety of treatment strategies including education, exercise prescription and manual therapy to assist patients recover from injury and accomplish their goals. Michelle also places a strong emphasis on health promotion and injury prevention to enhance her patients? overall well-being.
Michelle has completed the level two Advanced Integrative Musculoskeletal program from the OPA Orthopaedic division. She also has a keen interest in pelvic health and plans on pursuing courses in this area to expand her knowledge and further facilitate her patients? recovery and return to an injury-free lifestyle.
Outside of the clinic, Michelle lives an active lifestyle and loves to weight lift and cycle.
