Phillip obtained his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto, as well as a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science from McMaster University before that, giving him extensive knowledge in diagnostic imaging.
Growing up playing competitive sports such as volleyball, soccer, and weightlifting 5x a week, Phillip understands the importance of patient care required throughout the rehabilitative journey.
Therefore, Phillip strives to provide the highest quality of care by understanding not only the physical components, but other life factors such as psychological well-being, lifestyles, and habits to provide whole-person care, ensuring that the rehabilitative process is tailored to the individual and their goals, and preventing the likelihood of such problem happening again, improving quality of life.
He does this by emphasizing the importance of communication, ensuring patient education, and combining treatment with his extensive knowledge of exercise prescription and manual therapy.
Phillip is committed to practicing physiotherapy at a high standard by staying up to date with the latest developments in the field, perfecting techniques, and adhering to best practices to ensure optimal outcomes. He believes in professional development and will continuously expand his skill set and knowledge through future courses.
