Aneeshka earned her Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. Prior to this, she graduated from York University with a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences with the distinction Summa Cum Laude. Aneeshka has experience in a wide variety of settings including hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and private clinics; her practice ranging from treating long standing neurological conditions to chronic and acute musculoskeletal injuries. While completing her masters, she was also part of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association's student division for Pain Sciences.
Aneeshka combines active treatment with soft tissue release and manual therapy to provide pain relief alongside addressing musculoskeletal imbalances in the body. She is a strong advocate for collaborating with patients in their rehabilitation journey by discussing patient-focussed goals, providing education on the condition they are in for as well as its management; ensuring that the patient is an equal partner throughout the process.
Aneeshka is also a rostered Pelvic Health Therapist through which she treats conditions ranging from incontinence and prolapse to vaginismus and other pain-related conditions. Throughout her work, Aneeshka strives to provide inclusive, trauma informed care so that her patients feel safe and supported throughout their recovery.
