Biography
Dr. Lucrecia Hardowar obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2021. Prior to this, she obtained both her Bachelor of Science degrees in Kinesiology and Health Science as well as Psychology from York University. She is registered with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario.
Dr. Lucrecia has an evidence based assessment and treatment approach which focuses on manual therapy (manipulations and mobilizations), soft tissue therapy, exercise prescription, patient education and modality use. Dr. Lucrecia also provides activator adjustments.
Being a former athlete, Dr. Lucrecia has a special interest in the athletic population as well as pre/post-partum, everyday athlete, and post- surgical populations. She has obtained her contemporary medical and advanced medical acupuncture certifications from McMaster University.
She believes in empowering her patients and giving them the tools necessary to heal themselves and to restore mobility and function. Education is an important part of her treatment plan as Lucrecia believes her patients should understand their condition, the treatment they are receiving, and their role in an active recovery.
In her spare time Dr. Lucrecia can be found at the gym, trying new foods, or playing the latest Pok?mon game.
