Sabrina received her Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario with a major in Kinesiology and a minor in French. During this period, she worked as an athletic therapist for the Women's Varsity Basketball 2000-2001 team, where she provided care on and off the field. Here, she collaborated with the Fowler Kennedy sports medicine team regarding concussion management. Sabrina covered other sporting events including soccer, ultimate frisbee and the Toronto City Marathon. In the Spring of 2009, she covered the World Ball Hockey Championship in the Czech Republic, as the physiotherapist for Team India. She has recently provided physiotherapy coverage for the Toronto FC Academy.
Sabrina is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Orthopaedic and Sports divisions. She completed her Acupuncture training through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI) followed by the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University. She also received her FitforeGolf? certification, a rehabilitation course designed to assess a golfer's strength, flexibility and biomechanics of their swing. Her participation in courses through the Gary Gray Institute continue to advance her knowledge and skills in functional retraining, strength and conditioning. She is currently enrolled in Level 2 manual therapy courses.
Sabrina's previous experience includes aquatic instruction and personal training. She competed as a swimmer, gymnast and long distance runner and continues to participate in these sports, including golf and volleyball.
