Sameena graduated from York University with a BSc specialized in Kinesiology and Health Sciences in 2016. She was passionate about human movement and loved to travel so she ventured abroad to further continue her education in rehabilitation. She completed her MSc in Physiotherapy in 2018 from Edinburgh, Scotland at Queen Margaret University.

Sameena takes great interest in orthopaedic medicine and is a strong believer in active rehab as she continues to practice as a Registered Physiotherapist. She uses techniques like instrument assisted massages, myofascial decompression via cupping and manual therapy. She is a firm believer that motion is lotion so will carefully curate a physiotherapy exercise program that caters to you.

As Sameena continued to practice, she began to grow a greater interest in women's health. In particular Sameena specializes in Prenatal, Pregnancy and Post-Partum rehab. She offers Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy with a careful consideration to a psychosocial approach to her treatments. Sameena has completed Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Certification Course on Level 1 and Level 2. She also has completed her training with GrowCo for Pregnancy and PostPartum rehab that allows her to focus on strengthening exercises for women to feel more empowered in their bodies.
