With a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo, Allison combines a passion for orthopaedics with a comprehensive understanding of the human body. She is dedicated to helping patients overcome various musculoskeletal challenges through a blend of education, manual therapy, and tailored exercise programming. Allison has recently received the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Level 1 designation.
Allison's empathetic nature and commitment to patient care drive her desire to be part of the rehabilitation journey as a physiotherapist. She values working alongside her patients, fostering an environment where individuals feel supported and empowered in their road to recovery.
Allison grew up dancing and skiing and has recently added tennis and golf to her summer activities. She is enthusiastic about translating her love for these sports into helping her patient, return to their respective hobbies. In practice, Allison has experience working with diverse populations, ages, and injury types, guiding her patients toward their goals' whether it's managing symptoms, adopting healthier lifestyle choices, or resuming activities they enjoy.
Outside of the clinic, Allison enjoys reading, hot Pilates, and walks along the Toronto waterfront, as well as spending time at the cottage. She also loves cooking and experimenting with new recipes, blending personal and professional interests with a commitment to holistic well-being.
