Biography
Devon holds a Master?s Degree in Health Science and Kinesiology from York University. Prior to this, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, specialized honours in Health Science and Kinesiology. Due to his foundational and complementary background in health sciences, he was admitted into the advanced standing program for health professionals at Sutherland-Chan school of massage which is arguably considered one of the best massage schools in North America.
In addition, Devon has expanded his knowledge base through direct mentorship and several education courses which has allowed him to elevate his skillset which is grounded in a treatment focused approach. He has a special interest and vast experience working with active individuals and those with neck, shoulder and lower back issues. Devon also has a long-standing academic background in exercise science, which he integrates into his massage practice to support and solidify his treatment outcomes. Separate from treating, Devon works in academia at the post-secondary education level. He is currently a college professor teaching a variety of courses.
