Biography
Dr. Lisa Liang is a CASEM Certified Sports Medicine Specialist and Family Physician. Currently, she is the Company Physician for Canada's Ballet Jorgen and the Team Physician for the Lacrosse Canada Senior Women's Team. She has a focused practice designation and incurs no outside use for family physicians with referrals.
Dr. Liang completed her Fellowship in Sports and Exercise Medicine and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto, and completed her family medicine residency at McMaster University. She is involved in medical education, patient education and research, and has interests in exercise as medicine, sports nutrition and performance arts medicine. She provides team and event coverage to various local and national teams and events.
Dr. Liang lives with her husband and three kids in the Halton region. In her spare time, she loves being active, playing trumpet and piano, reading sci-fi novels, cooking and travelling.
