Location: Brampton , Mississauga
After completing his medical degree at Ross University in Dominica, Dr. Aheer went on to complete his family medicine residency at McMaster University (Brampton Site). He then went onto train at the University of Toronto, completing a fellowship in Sport and Exercise Medicine.
During his Sports Medicine fellowship, he had showed special interest in evidence based medicine. He actively participated in the primary care sports medicine journal club, as well as monthly lecture rounds. Dr. Aheer also has special interest in concussion management, having gained experience with both pediatric and adult concussions. He enjoys providing care for both acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries.
He has had the privilege of providing medical coverage for the UofT Varsity football and Men’s hockey teams, Mississauga St. Michaels Majors hockey team, Canadian National Beach Volleyball Tournament, Canadian National Senior Men’s Basketball team, SKATE Canada championships, Oakville Half-marathon, Canadian Taekwondo Open, and the Canadian Taekwondo Nationals.
