Biography
Dr. Nadira Rambihar is a Sports Medicine Doctor and a specialist of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Physiatry). She trained at the University of Toronto for her residency in Physiatry, the University of Western Ontario (Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry) for her medical school, and the University of Toronto for her BSc. in Life Sciences. She has additional training with a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the Canadian Academy of Sports and Exercise Medicine, and a CSCN Diplomate (EMG) from the Canadian Society of Neurophysiologists.
Dr. Rambihar holds an academic appointment at the University of Toronto, and teaches for the Postgraduate Medical Education Program in Physiatry. She is a staff Physiatrist at West Park Healthcare Centre, where she treats individuals after musculoskeletal injuries or trauma.
She loves to work with elite and recreational athletes both in a sports clinic and "on the field." She has worked a various provincial, national and international sporting events including the PanAm Games. She enjoys an active lifestyle, including running marathons, playing soccer and keeping up with her very active children.
