Emily graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she completed her undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph.
Emily has worked with many different patient populations including athletes, individuals with neurological conditions, and older adults. She has experience treating acute and chronic sports related injuries, repetitive strain injuries, pre and post-operative patients, and has a strong interest in preventative rehabilitation.
Emily will be completing her Level 1 Orthopaedic Division Manual Therapy level in December and is looking forward to continuing her education in manual therapy, acupuncture/dry needling, and pelvic health.
Emily is passionate about helping her patients get back to their activities while promoting good movement patterns to prevent re-injury. She takes a holistic client-centred approach to all of her assessments and treatments, and will work closely with you to develop an individualized and effective treatment plan that fits your lifestyle.
Your treatments with Emily will include a combination of education, hands on, and exercised based approaches tailored towards your rehab goals. You can find her at our Liberty Village location.
In her free time, you can find Emily at the gym, hiking the nearest trails, or exploring new restaurants in Toronto.
