Biography
Melissa received her Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of Toronto, and her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. In 2016 she received her Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (CAMPT). She is trained in acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, is certified in Integrated Dry Needling, and is a certified Nordic Pole Walking Instructor through Nordixx Pole Walking Canada. She is also an Advanced Practice Provider with the Rapid Access Clinic Low Back program.
Melissa also enjoys participating in the physiotherapy field outside of the clinic; she is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of CAMPT.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys playing the piano, baking, and chasing after her three children.
