Biography

Olivera obtained her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. Prior to this she completed a research based masters in Exercise Physiology at Queen's University to deepen her understanding of the human body.

While studying in British Columbia, Olivera was surrounded by classmates and friends who shared a similar love for nature and physical activity. This experience has enhanced her love and passion for movement. She is dedicated to helping others find activities that get them moving and bring them joy and fulfilment. Additionally, Olivera has an extensive athletic background competing at various levels. These include representing Canada internationally in dragon boat, racing in outrigger canoes in Canada and the USA, and participating in local ice hockey, skiing, and rugby competitions. These experiences exposed her to a variety of injuries which served as a lesson on resilience, recovery, and the importance of physiotherapy.
